Nothing Underneath or Too Beautiful To Die
Was looking for a decent slasher pick and this seemed like it had all of the elements. Mid 80’s giallo, black gloved killer, scissors, psychically connected twins, murdered supermodels and Donald Pleasance. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The first couple scissor kills happen off screen, it takes quite a while to get going, there’s far less blood than gratuitous nudity, and the final reveal was completely obvious. Wasn’t quite the stylish slasher I was hoping for. If you looking for a male gaze-y giallo, though, this would fit the bill nicely.
