An ambitious film that somehow morphs from a stage-play into a porno more than halfway through. The narrative, acting, and set design are all quite good actually for the time though somewhere during production the director forgot what kind of film he was making, releasing a controversial mess. Watchable, but beware the bizarre nature of this film and its bipolar tendencies. Very much a cult movie even by audiences of the time.
