If I Had Legs I'd Kick You

With her life crashing down around her, Linda (Rose Byrne) attempts to navigate her child's mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.
One of the most tense and unnerving watches I’ve ever experienced. Byrne is captivating throughout. Hard to explain why, but there was something so unsettling about never getting to see the child’s face for most of the film. Somehow it just really heightened the tension. I think it also provides a kind of natural catharsis for the ending. Something about finally seeing her face allows you space to breathe again.
