A group of college kids plan a trekking trip to a rural mountainous area, unknown to them that the area is run by a self proclaimed preacher n leader who dispenses justice according to his own whims and fancies. While the leader is himself an adulterous child molester, he tortures n kills his wife's lover which is witnessed by the college kids.

Something about backwoods chase thrillers always excite me. Just the setting with the simplicity- Trapped is insane! This one goes to places you wouldn't expect whether it be a car chase through the mountains, an impalement of an antenna, or even a death by being covered in hot oil and set aflame. A little bit of Deliverance and maybe a dash of some Friday the 13th, William Fruet deserves more attention.
