What a baddie. Honestly way funnier than I expected! Peak camp horror-comedy. Simple plot, but you’re really just here for Elvira, her shenanigans and the way she bounces off everyone around her.
I love that she’s unapologetically herself. You can see the goth and drag aesthetics that spun out of this movie and it makes sense why she became such a gay horror queen icon. Elvira carries the whole thing and she knows it.
