“The Siege of Firebase Gloria” puts R. Lee Ermey in a familiar drill-sergeant role, though here he reveals flashes of humanity beneath the bark. The plot is simple: a remote firebase under relentless attack, but its raw, nonstop violence gives it a gritty drive. It’s a B-movie at heart, yet Ermey’s presence makes it worth watching.
