compelling narratives that made me very emotional, but bogged down by subpar cgi and paleontologists playing through simulated digging scenarios that don’t really add much to the experience. if there were more in-depth paleontological discussions with intriguing new insights and breakthroughs in research from the past few decades it would’ve been more engaging. otherwise, i’d rather watch the original walking with dinosaurs, or apple tv’s prehistoric planet
