Much lighter in tone than Damon Lindelof’s previous shows (The Watchmen, The Leftovers, Lost), but it actually takes a deeper look at some of his recurring themes—Faith and morality, chaos and determinism, and mommy issues galore. Narratively it goes to some pretty weird places, like when Jesus comes into the picture, and maybe British Knights. Definitely took me a bit longer to truly get into it than usual, for a Lindelof show. (5, maybe 6 episodes). The last two episodes, particularly the finale, brings all of bizarre-ish story elements from the entire season to a satisfying conclusion.
