This one’s where the mop starts to drag.
Toxie’s third outing tries to spoof The Last Temptation of Christ but ends up feeling more like The Last Patience of the Viewer.
The plot: Toxie working for a corrupt corporation, is ripe for satire, but the execution is sluggish, padded and painfully self indulgent.
The gore is toned down, the jokes recycled and the pacing? Glacial.
Even the mutant mayhem feels tired, like the cast is just going through the motions in a vat of leftover slime.
There are flashes of Tromaville charm, but they’re buried under endless exposition and limp gags.
It’s a sequel that feels like it was made because someone found extra mop props lying around.
Watch it only if you’re a completionist, or if you need a reminder of how good the first one really was.
